This renewal is an important milestone for us. It confirms not only the strength of our relationship with Brest University Hospital, but also the lasting relevance of our technology in serving French and European hospital pharmacy teams.
What is the QCRx®?
In a hospital pharmacy, preparing chemotherapies is a very high-responsibility activity. Every IV bag prepared directly affects patient safety. Yet teams face considerable daily constraints: heavy workload, staff turnover, uncertain supplies and time pressure.
Traditional control methods (human double-checking, HPLC, in-process video control) each have their limits. Double-checking does not eliminate all errors, HPLC requires a dedicated laboratory and several hours to check a series, and video control does not measure the final concentration.
The QCRx® was designed to meet these challenges without compromise. It is an automated analytical control system for the finished product, which verifies in under 70 seconds:
- the molecule (identification);
- the concentration (assay);
- the solvent.
The check requires no complex spectroscopy training, no dedicated laboratory and does not slow down releases. The interface is intuitive and accessible to any pharmacist after a few hours of familiarisation.
